I’m… a student?! That’s right folks, starting 22 Jan, 4 years and 11 days after I got out of HS according to my proficiency cert, I will once again be a full-time student at two different schools (according to how many units I’m taking. Technically half time academic and half time art.) Math and English at Yuba college’s Clearlake Center, and drawing, painting and ceramics at Mendocino’s Lakeport Center.

Mum is taking the art classes with me, which is the main reason I decided to go back anyway. XD Had to take a placement exam for Yuba the other day, which proved what I already knew: I kick ass at English and suck at Math. In math I placed into Math 111 (Prealgebra), which is the second step up, but I’m taking Math 110 (the lowest class - Arithmetic for College Students). Which means if I want to go for my Associates, I have to take… 4 or 5 math classes. English I placed into English 1A (College Composition and Reading), which according to mum not many people place into. Which, if I were again not taking the class below it (English 51 - Preparatory Composition and Reading), I’d only have to take and pass English 1A and take no reading classes to get my degree.

Thursdays I won’t get to go home between classes because Mum is taking the English class with my teacher right before mine. XP And the fun thing about drawing and painting XD Same teacher, same class, and he also teaches oils & watercolours (I’m taking acrylics) at the same time x3

Monday (Mendo-Lakeport)
• 10am-1pm: Drawing
• 2pm-5pm: Painting

Tuesday (Yuba-Clearlake)
• 12:30pm-1:45pm: Math 111
• 4:30pm-6:2pm: English 51

Wednesday (Mendo-Lakeport)
• 6:30pm-9:30pm: Intro to Ceramics

Thursday (Yuba-Clearlake)

Firstly, a paper post from when my power was out on the 5th. >.>

But yeah, anyway. Past few days have been spent once again geeking over Suikoden 4 and spending nearly every waking hour playing it. Ted is miinneeee bwahaha. But yeah, got a call yesterday from Dad saying Bossman wanted to ask if I’d be willing to come down with S and work tomorrow (aka today) so yeah, said yes because I need the monies.

So today, worked. Was up at five, out the door at 6:15, picked up K around 7:30 to discover someone stole his Tempo last week and he saw it while he was out picking up our lunches (has a ‘63 (I think) Nova, too). We had a laugh about it considering how much of a piece of crap and beat up that thing is (it was my mum’s before K’s, and a friend of mum’s before mum got it) and who the hell would want to steal a beat to crap ‘90 Tempo?

Got to work at 8 on the dot, waited for Bossman so we could actually get started since he had like 90% of what I needed in his truck. Work happened, lots of priming friggin siding and K gets a call from the police or someone saying he needed to come pick up his car - apparently the Tempo was abandoned somewhere, lol. We all figured it probably broke down and the cocks decided to say ‘um fuck it’. More painting happened, everything I’d been brought down to do was done by noon. Ate lunch, ended up picking up everyone else’s slack by cleaning the whole place up and loading up the trailer to take stuff to the dump + helping dad put building paper up over the exposed insulation. No time to put up the siding today, particularly considering we didn’t get out of there till quarter to five. Got paid, S, K & I took off, dropped K at home, went to Best Buy & Office Max w/ S and got home around 7:15 and have been sitting on my lazy ass since then waiting for 10 pm to come so I can take my pill and go to sleep >.>

So yus. Exhausted and sore and D: and *runs away*

K’s 19th birthday was yesterday so he & dad came up. Which means more BBQing (since mum and I finally figured out how to get the grill going and keep it going… only took us 20 years >>). With COW RIBS. And they were tasty. Followed by strawberry shortcake, which was fantastico. And some of the giant ass batch of potato salad mum made me make yesterday hur. Dad left before I woke up but K was still here messing around on his new car he has parked here (’63 Nova). A little conversing and ways were parted.

The Higa Rival Players singles come out the 19th and sadly I have no monies for them yet D: *grabbypaws at* But I’m g uessing that’s okay since my most recent buyingstuff spree included some of the older Rival Players cds I don’t have (Shinji, Saeki, Renji, Jackal&Marui + Yukimura). I can live without Higa cds in my paws for a month >.>; And super randomly I still ♥ Sanada’s Shou album 8D

On to other things coming out :O Radiata Stories manga on the 26th *_* Alright, I haven’t spammed this place with it yet but I’ve been playing the game lately and a;lkfjafk I frickin’ love it. Square-Enix once again has not let me down. The characters are so sarcastic and the art, while sort of cutesy and such is nice. And it’s fun to play. I think the only thing I don’t like about it is that if you (Jack) die, it’s a game over no matter what - even if all the rest of your party members are still perfectly fine. But other than that it’s A+

And also randomly because I feel the need to mention SuJu, here. Quite aware it’s old but that doesn’t make it any less amusing, and happy thoughts are good things to have; particularly with what all’s been going on lately. So it is with much love that I wish HeeChul a speedy recovery and offer my condolences to DongHae over his father’s death. Not that it really matters what a silly American fangirl thinks, but these guys are totally deserving of a break, man. So much bad luck lately D:
